Andrew…the Angels have to make a decision between Teixeira and KRod, I don’t believe they’ll sign both. If you’re asking me, they’re both amazing athletes and among the best at their respective positions. That being said, I think KRod is the obvious choice for the Angels, especially after the year he just had. How many games have been lost in the 9th inning by teams that don’t have a guy that can have that mindset (ex. Mariano Rivera, Trevor Hoffman)?

As far as the Red Sox interest in Teixiera, that brings up the question..what do they do with Kevin Youkilis?

Kyle, Casey is one of the more underrated outfielders in the free agent market. No, he’s not going to give you 30+ HR’s, but he’s not going to be a defensive liability either. He’s a great role player and I think the Twins need him a whole lot more than the Dodgers at this point.

This is interesting. I actually live in the same town as Casey Blake (where he grew up and lives in the off season), so I am following his signing closely. We are hoping for the Twins, as it is close to home and seems like a good fit for him.

How about Teixeira? I heard the Red Sox might be interested in signing him.
